Re-Ment's Pokémon blind box figures are a Japanese product that shops outside Japan can stock alongside trading cards — and not only card shops: in our experience they are very popular in toy shops as well. This guide explains what they are, how a case works, how to find the number of designs in a series, and what to know about customs before you order.
Re-Ment (RE-MENT Co., Ltd.) is a Japanese company that makes miniature figures. Its Pokémon range is released in Japan as themed series — for example Terrarium Collection 10 -30th anniversary- or Pop Melody. Each figure comes in its own box, and the design inside is not shown on the outside: that is what makes it a "blind box".
The packaging is Japanese, as these are products made for the Japanese market.
For a shop, the blind box format raises an obvious question: if every box is a surprise, how do you know what you are getting? At SORA CardShop the answer is simple:
So when you order one unit, you receive every design in that series. This is shown on every blind box product page and in the Blind Box (Pokémon) catalog.
The number of designs is not the same for every series. Many series have 6, but some have 3, 4 or 8. For example, each part of the Journey with You! Anniversary line, such as The Dawn of Adventure, has 3 designs.
Re-Ment's official website lists the number of designs on the product page for each series (in Japanese, as 全◯種類 — "◯ designs in total"). Where we have confirmed the number for a product, our product page shows it as well.
Our main range is the Pokémon series. Alongside them, we offer Re-Ment blind boxes for other licences in a separate Blind Box (Other) catalog — for example Snoopy, Kirby and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series such as SNOOPY's FRAME ART collection, Kirby in Pop City!! and STAND on DESK: Fate. The same rule applies there: one unit is one case, and one case is the complete set.
These non-Pokémon series are ordered from our supplier after we receive your order, so some of them can take 1–2 weeks before we can ship them.
Import duty itself — included in advance for the USA, paid on arrival everywhere else — works the same way as for cards. See the customs section of our sourcing guide.
To order, you register a free B2B account, add items to your cart and send a quote request; we reply with a formal quotation, usually within 24 hours. Blind boxes and trading cards can be ordered together. Our guide to sourcing Japanese trading cards from Japan explains every step — payment, shipping, import duty and damage claims.
